Noah "Prison" Burkholz is a retired Gears of War esports player, previously Murder by Numbers.
Biography[]
Prison started playing Gears of War in 2007, shortly after the game came out. Along with Dead Rising, Gears of War was one of the leading console games at the time, Prison felt he had to make a decision of one or the other...he chose Gears of War. Prison started competitive play with JaeMercs in GameBattles and shortly after becoming number 1 on the ladder, together they eventually formed a 4v4 team to travel to MLG Toronto and did something very few amateurs can say they did. Competing under Murder By Numbers Prison and his team competed against 70+ teams to place 3rd in their first ever LAN event.
During his time as a competitive player, Prison also attended the University of New Hampshire, receiving his B.A in Communications as well as minors in both Forensics and Criminal Justice.
