Billy "MentaL" Putnam is a retired Gears of War esports player, previously UYU.
Biography[]
MentaL was introduced to Gears of War by his older brother when he was 10 years old. MentaL got into competitive play from my old friend Aggrivate in Gears of War 2 by playing Gamebattle matches. After that he started to watch Hypestation events in Gears of War 3. MentaL competed in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare alongside Xplosive and former teammate Critical Kyle. They almost qualified for the Season 1 of the UMG Semi-Pro League, but ended up being one game 5 away from qualifying.
