Jay "DaveFromTelstra" Lloyd is a Gears of War esports player, previously Mindfreak.
Biography[]
Dave started playing Gears of War after the release of the Gears of War 2, with his intentions primarily based on the playing the campaign. The campaign eventually led him to playing multiplayer modes casually with friends.
After being invited to scrims regularly with other pro players, Dave was eventually introduced to the competitive scene by his now teammate Virrix after being offered a spot on Virrix's already successful Gears of War team Legacy. Taking the team in to Gears of War 3 made them the most successful team in ANZ history, winning every LAN they competed in and almost every single online tournament as well as Ladders and Leagues in the ANZ region.
